Email marketing for Fresno and Clovis businesses.

Throttle Up Media writes, designs and sends newsletters, promotions and automatic emails for Fresno businesses, and reports what each one did.

Is email worth it for you?

  • You collect customer emails at checkout or booking, and you never use them.
  • You send an email only when you remember to.
  • Your offers go out on social media and are gone in a day.
  • Customers buy more than once: meals, service visits, classes, repeat orders.
  • You want a channel you own, whatever a social platform does.

What you get

  • Newsletters and promotions

Written in your voice, designed to match your brand, and sent on a calendar you approve.
  • Automatic emails

A welcome series, reminders, and win-back emails for customers who haven't been back in a while. Set up once, they keep running.
  • A list built the clean way

Signup forms on your website and at the counter, with clear consent. We don't send to bought or rented lists. The list is yours: it lives in your account and leaves with you.
  • Checked before it sends

Every email is checked in dark mode, and new designs on iPhone, Gmail and Outlook too.
  • Delivery set up properly

We check your sending domain's SPF, DKIM and DMARC records, which Gmail and Yahoo expect from bulk senders.
  • Reports that count clicks, not opens

Apple Mail can count an email as opened when nobody read it, so we report clicks, replies, and the orders or bookings we can trace to an email when your system allows it.

How it starts

  1. 1

    Look at what you have

Your list, where it came from, your platform and what you sell. We tell you which addresses you can email and whether the list needs cleaning first.

  2. 2

    Set it up

Your template, your sending domain, your signup forms and the first automatic email.

  3. 3

    Send and report

A calendar you approve, then a monthly report.

+$543K

more restaurant sales a year than in 2022.

2022 against the 12 months ending May 2026. Not typical and not guaranteed.

What one client's numbers show

We run marketing for a family-owned restaurant, including its email, social media, Google listing, ads and website. We started there in early 2023, and our work grew over time, so not all of it ran for the whole period.

Food, staff, prices, the season and the economy all move a restaurant's sales, so we can't say how much of that rise came from marketing. These results are not typical and not guaranteed.

Read the full results and how we measured them.

What it costs, and what moves the price

You pay a monthly fee for the work you pick. Your email platform charges its own fee, based on list size, and the quote says how that is paid. We put the price in writing before anything starts.

  • How many emails we send each month
  • Whether we write and design each one, or work from your drafts
  • How many automatic emails we set up
  • Whether your list needs cleaning or moving to a new platform
  • Whether we shoot new photos for your emails

Before you ask.

Which email platform do you use?
Usually Mailchimp. If you use another, tell us which and we'll say whether we can work in it or whether moving makes sense.
How often should a small business send email?
For many local businesses, twice a month to once a week, plus automatic emails. We'll recommend a rhythm you can keep.
I don't have a list yet. Can you still help?
Yes. We start with signup forms and a reason worth signing up for. A list grows slowly, and we'll tell you what to expect.
Do you follow the rules for commercial email?
Yes. We follow the federal CAN-SPAM Act: every email carries a working unsubscribe link and your mailing address. We also only send to people who asked to hear from you. We aren't lawyers, so ask yours about anything specific to your industry.
Will email marketing grow my sales?
We can't promise that, and nobody can. We report what each email did and tell you when a month was flat.
Do you only work in Fresno?
No. We work across Fresno County and the Central Valley, and some of our clients are elsewhere in the US and abroad. Tell us where you sell and we'll say whether we're the right fit.

Tell us about your list.

Email what you sell, roughly how many customer emails you have, and which platform you use, if any. We'll reply with what we'd send first.
