How a video project runs.

    Scope

    We agree on what the video has to accomplish, then write the script, plan the locations, and put the shoot days and the price in writing. Nothing gets booked before you've approved that document.
  2. 2

    Shoot

    One crew handles camera, lighting, sound and direction. Because we also run ads and social accounts, we shoot the vertical and still frames those need the same day.
  3. 3

    Deliver

    You see a first cut and give notes before we color, mix, and record voiceover. Final files arrive in the format each destination requires: broadcast, web and social.

What a video costs, and what moves the price

A video is a one-off project with no ongoing commitment.

  • How many shoot days and locations
  • How much crew and equipment the shoot needs
  • Whether we write the script and record the voiceover
  • How many versions you need: a 30-second spot, a long film, social cuts
  • Music licensing, motion graphics and captions

Questions to ask any video production company

  1. Who writes the script? We do, if you want. Scripting, directing and voiceover all happen in our studio.
  2. How many rounds of changes are included? It should be in the quote. Ours says so before we start.
  3. Will it have captions? It should. Captions help viewers who watch with the sound off and viewers who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Before you ask.

How much does video production cost in Fresno?
Each video has its own written quote, priced mainly by shoot days, crew and editing time. A single-location commercial and a multi-day brand film aren't the same job, so we don't publish one number.
How long does a video project take?
Most commercial projects run a few weeks from first call to final delivery. Pre-production and scheduling usually take the most calendar time.
Do you travel outside Fresno?
Yes. We're based in Fresno, work throughout Clovis, Fresno County and the Central Valley, and travel further out. Any travel is in the quote.
Do you make corporate and company videos?
Yes: company films, customer stories, recruiting and event videos. Tell us who will watch it and where it will run.
What do I get at the end?
The finished video in the formats you need, plus any shorter and vertical versions we planned at the shoot. The quote sets out which versions you get, whether a caption file is included, and how you can use the video and footage.
Who will actually be on my shoot?
The two people who run our studio in Fresno, with extra crew brought in when a shoot needs more hands.
Can I hire a videographer for one shoot or event?
Yes. A single shoot or event is a one-off project, quoted in writing before it's booked.
